Adam Chambers Roberts is a writer and long-time donor organizer and fundraiser for U.S. based social justice and pro-democracy movements.
Adam has worked for the last decade-plus helping individuals move resources to combat the rise of authoritarianism, including at Resource Generation, Way to Win, and (currently) Movement Voter Project. He is deeply committed to organizing wealthy communities, white people, and men into movements for justice; to building progressive-left power toward a thriving multiracial democracy; and to the inner and outer transformation work it takes to get there.
Adam's writing has been published by Guernica, Vox, Boston Review, The Atlantic, and more. He holds degrees from Brown University and the University of Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where he was an Alberta Kelly Post-Graduate Fellow. He was a recipient of the 2011 Boston Review Discovery Prize for Poetry. You can find him on Substack here.
Adam was born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island, and currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts with his wife and their two children.
